Scope and Contents A fable, addressed to S. Stanislaus (Smith) on her clothing day by Benedict Fenwick. It begins with the words: "A fable or a curious little story; in which are pourtrayed (sic) the artful and vain attempts of the Devil, under the figure of a Tom-Cat upon a certain little Nun in the Monastery of Mount Carmel, under the figure of a Mouse."
