Joseph Schrembs, Bishop of Cleveland, asks Michael Curley to see if he can obtain some good Carmelites from Baltimore to improve conditions at Cleveland Carmel, recently opened, from St. Louis, but with one "a confirmed invalid", another blind, others of a nondescript character. Asks because "I understand that you have one of the best foundations in the country." Letter sent on to Mother Superior, Carmelite Convent, City.
