6/13/1855: permission, giving veil to S. Gabriel Boland. 8/1/1855: re shortage of funds; he sends a check for half the amount. 1/11/1856: re election of discreets, presence of L. Obermeyer or Seelos.CSSrs. 1/22/1856: reception to be done by Jesuit or Redemptorist; 3/12/1856: mentions possible candidate, Joanna Patterson, a convert; 3/14/1856: re interfering in appt of religious fathers; Miss Patterson to be discouraged; she is too old (43); 7/2/1856: is going to Eastern Shore; asks them to find a substitute; 8/1/1856 he hopes to receive the profession "of Mrs. B" (Bauduy) 10/31/1861: allows Sister Louisa to see her friends and those who accompany them without the veil. Also see Annals Book for Kenrick's application to dismiss a sister who disturbs peace of Carmelite monastery; and its being given on 4/10/1853.
