Original and unabridged version of letter written by Michael Curley. In this he says: If there is a Sister who is not content with her call to the life of Carmel, then she must return to the life of the world. It is much easier to go out of Carmel than to get into it. And he adds: You have ...rule...must be obeyed and if exceptions are made, they must be made by the Mother Prioress for reasons that are well known to all the members of the Community. Anything bordering on favoritism would be a malediction. If a Sister is going to be a Carmelite, then let her be a Carmelite. If, as may happen.... (page 2 of 3).
