He is glad she is in the school, but asks her to be prudent. He teases her (or scolds her), tells of visit to Syria, and refers to community: "You are a community of the greatest importance to religion." Refers to fellow Jesuits, especially those in exile (21 in number), now living in St. Joseph, Philadelphia.
