From Santa Clara Carmel, Mother Augustine's recalls each of the foundations from Baltimore, from which she left to establish Santa Clara. Refers to Baltimore as the "house of my profession." M.Beatrix; Boston Carmel, 1890; Brooklyn, 1907; Seattle, 1908; Bettendorf, 1911, with S.Clare, my "child; 1913, Wheeling; 1922 (sic), New York; Santa Clara from Boston; Rochester from Philadelphia. Her jubilee celebrated on 1/20/1937. Gibbons preached at her clothing in 1887; and Williams of Boston present (her confessor from childhood).
