Scope and Contents

This series consists of the following: general histories of the Baltimore Carmel (beginning with the Port Tobacco foundation) as composed by members of the congregation or others; news articles, research notes that supply specific aspects of life at Baltimore Carmel; the research notes and related correspondence gathered by Rev. Laurence Kelly, SJ, during the 1930s (at the time of the restoration of Port Tobacco); and pictures of the founders as well as personnel associated with Carmel.
