Nelligan sends official indult permitting the transfer of the two sisters from Baltimore to Jaro Carmel; and same confirmation from Vicar-General of the Carmelite Order, Silverius of St Teresa.

In behalf of Archbishop Curley, Msgr Nelligan tells Mother Mary Magdalen that the bishop believes "it would not be advisable to relinquish your position as Prioress..." and join the Philippines mission.
