Scope and Contents 5/20/46: first letter from Queen of Peace Carmel, Junkersdorf, written in extremely broken English, the writer says: "One of our sisters, Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Holy Cross, a jewish convertite, Dr. Edith Stein, was brought into a concentration camp the second of August 1942. As we have no further news from her, we must suppose that she has been killed."
