Notes: The Foundation of the Baltimore Carmel, typescript, ca 1935, containing mention of The Pious Guide, Bishop Gross' sermon in 1874, statistics on U. S. foundations, religious and secular names of the four foundresses and those who entered Carmel at Port Tobacco, Discalced Carmelite Nuns in the United States (lists the foundations), and a necrology 1904-1927. No author, but authorized by Mother Seraphim.

In French, with English version. French version has signature of S. Marie Theresa. Rev. Mathieu Herard has been there, looking after Baltimore nuns' needs and wants. This community is very poor, unable to help but send chasuable. They are interested in learning about Baltimore, its climate especially. Sends spiritual contract. 7/30; they saw Bp. Flaget; he also told them about Baltimore Carmel. Are concerned about climate and austerity.
