Indulgences granted for prayers or works "as often as they give assistance to the missions and the missionaries of the order, or offer prayers to God or perform any good work in behalf of the spiritual increase of the said missions." Granted in audience with Pius IX at petition of General of the Order, Natalis of St Anne; and approved by Archbishop Gibbons in 1882.
