Scope and Contents Antwerp Carmel writes concerning federation experimented with for seven years--1955-1962. It did not give satisfaction and the federation does not exist now. There were complications, election, etc. The statutes, written in Belgium were not in accord with the times. The new statutes (Brebant has these) of the Holy See which can be modified somewhat may be useful for all institutes. But Flanders does not want federation.
